The Szabadság híd, or Liberty Bridge, is an impressive steel bridge in Budapest that links Buda and Pest. Completed in 1896, it features a beautiful Art Nouveau style with mythological motifs, including turul bird statues. Spanning 333.6 meters across the Danube River, it mainly accommodates tram and pedestrian traffic. The bridge holds historical significance, having been rebuilt after its destruction during World War II. It is a favourite among both locals and visitors, providing stunning views of the city. Open at all hours, there are no admission fees to cross the bridge, which is easily accessible by tram services.
