The Poortersloge in Brugge, constructed between 1395 and 1417, was the meeting point for the local commercial elite, overlooking the canal used by incoming ships. Over the years, it became a cultural centre, home to the Free Academy of Arts and the National Archive. Its Gothic architecture is notable, and it features contemporary art exhibitions. Visitors can see the "Beertje van de Loge" statue, representing the original knights' society. Open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM, entry is free, and the site is accessible to all.
