The Castillo de los Tres Reyes del Morro, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1982, is a historic fortress situated at the entrance of Havana Bay. Constructed in the late 16th century, it provided crucial defence against pirates and has been beautifully preserved. Visitors can admire its remarkable architecture, including the iconic lighthouse, built in 1844. Highlights include breathtaking panoramic views of the city and bay, cultural events in its galleries, and two restaurants serving local cuisine. The site is open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM, with an entry fee of 5 CUC. Accessibility is good, with provisions for visitors with mobility issues.
