Oía Castle, known as Καστέλι Οίας in Greek, is a historic Venetian-era fortress located in Oía, Santorini, Greece. Built before 1480, it stands on a hill overlooking the caldera at approximately 55 metres above sea level. The castle is named after the nearby Church of Saint Nicholas, dating back to around 1450. Though only ruins remain due to damage from the 1956 earthquake, it remains a popular spot for tourists, especially during sunset. The site offers breathtaking views and a glimpse into the region's rich history. Visitors can explore the ruins and enjoy the surrounding beauty, making it an essential stop on any trip to Santorini.
