The Palatine Hill, one of Rome's seven hills, is rich in history and myth, considered the founding site of the city. Tourists can discover ancient ruins, including the imperial palaces of Augustus and Domitian. The area provides breathtaking views of the Roman Forum and Circus Maximus. It is open daily from 9 AM until one hour before sunset, with an admission fee. Tickets can be bought on-site or combined with visits to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. The site is generally accessible with pathways running through the ruins.
