Beestenmarkt is a historic square located in Delft, Netherlands, spanning 60 by 50 meters. It emerged from the demolition of the Minderbroederklooster and was the venue for the Delft cattle market from 1595 to 1972. Nowadays, it serves as a lively entertainment area, flanked by eleven hospitality businesses. The square features 24 mature plane trees offering shade in summer. A highlight is "The Bull," an earthenware sculpture by artist Rob Brandt, located at the centre. Beestenmarkt is well-loved for various outdoor activities and had an annual skating rink from 2001 to 2014 (excluding 2003).
