Villa Méditerranée is a public building situated in the 2nd arrondissement of Marseille, officially opened on April 7, 2013. Designed by architect Stefano Boeri, the venue was originally intended for conferences and exhibitions but has evolved into a significant cultural site. As of 2022, it houses the Cosquer Méditerranée museum, which showcases a replica of the ancient Cosquer cave. Its architecture features a remarkable cantilever, making it a landmark on the Marseille waterfront. The facility offers exhibitions focused on Mediterranean themes and boasts a distinctive design.
