Alcázar Genil, known as Qasar al-Sayyid, is a historic fortified palace situated in Granada, Spain. Constructed in 1218 by the Almohad governor, it was a leisure estate for the nobility and hosted various grand events. The architecture features a central courtyard, stunning Islamic decorations, and a large pond used for naval reenactments. Visitors can wander through its gardens, view archaeological remains, and appreciate the landscape by the Genil River. Designated a national monument in 1922, it also houses the Francisco Ayala Foundation. Open from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 15:00, with free admission.
