The Sadberk Hanım Museum in Istanbul is a private cultural institution established to preserve the art and material heritage collected by the Koç family and named after Sadberk Koç. Housed in a restored 19th‑century waterside mansion on the Bosphorus, the museum displays a wide-ranging collection from prehistoric Anatolian finds through Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman periods, including sculptures, ceramics (notably Iznik ware), textiles and everyday objects. Its permanent galleries and rotating temporary exhibitions shed light on regional history, craft traditions and social life, supporting scholarly study and wider appreciation of Turkey’s cultural legacy. The museum maintains regular visiting hours, applies an admission charge, and offers accessibility adaptations and educational programmes while upholding conservation standards.
