The Old Bronze Bell of Bosingak Pavilion, recognised as National Treasure No. 2 of South Korea, is a noteworthy historical artefact created during the Joseon Dynasty in 1468. Previously used to signal the opening and closing of city gates, it was integral to the New Year's Bell-ringing ceremony until 1985, when it was transferred to the National Museum of Korea for preservation. Weighing 19.66 tons and measuring 3.18 metres tall, this remarkable bell showcases intricate dragon motifs and distinct decorative bands.
