London Mithraeum (Temple of Mithras) is the remains of a Roman Mithraic temple at Walbrook in the City of London. Built in the late 3rd or early 4th century AD, it was rediscovered in 1954 and re‑excavated during major redevelopment in the 2010s; a new visitor space reopened in 2017. The site is important for understanding Roman religious practice in Londinium and the Mithras cult, offering insight into urban ritual life and Romano‑British cultural exchange. Principal attractions comprise the in situ foundations and reconstructed interior, displayed artefacts and reliefs, and an atmospheric interpretation of worship and iconography. The site typically operates to scheduled opening hours and commonly provides free admission; accessible facilities and measures for visitors with mobility or sensory needs are in place. Explanatory panels and museum‑level conservation support the finds.
