The Pavilion Mies van der Rohe, often referred to as the Barcelona Pavilion, is a renowned building designed by Mies van der Rohe for the 1929 International Exposition in Barcelona. A hallmark of modern architecture, it showcases simple forms and luxurious materials, including travertine marble. After being dismantled post-exposition, it was reconstructed in 1986 on the same site. The Pavilion houses the iconic Barcelona Chair and a bronze sculpture titled "Alba" by Georg Kolbe. Visitors can enjoy the serene environment and its reflective pools. Open daily, admission fees apply, and the site is accessible to all.
