Ihwa Mural Village, situated in Ihwa-dong, Seoul, is a lively public art area revitalised in 2006 by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Once a deteriorating neighbourhood, it showcases murals and installations by around 70 artists. The village is famous for its picturesque streets and artistic appeal, attracting both locals and tourists. Visitors can admire the artwork while taking in scenic views of Naksan Park. Although there are no admission fees, it is important to be respectful as it remains a residential area.
