Kaiserworth, a historic guild house situated in the marketplace of Goslar, Germany, was constructed in 1494 atop the remnants of an earlier building dating back to 1274. It functioned as the gathering place for the "Worthgilde," the most significant merchant guild in the city. Renowned for its stunning late Gothic architecture, the structure features six arcades and elaborate facade decorations, including statues of Abundantia and Hercules. The building has operated as a hotel since 1831, but it closed its doors in late 2022. In 1992, Kaiserworth was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site as part of Goslar. Visitors can appreciate its intricate sculptures and historical importance, but please be aware that it is currently not in operation.
