Museum for the Memory of Ustica - Free Audio Guide

The Museo per la Memoria di Ustica, situated in Bologna, is a moving museum honouring the memory of the victims of the Ustica massacre. It was inaugurated on June 27, 2007, and houses the wreckage of the DC-9 aircraft that tragically crashed in 1980, claiming 81 lives. A significant highlight is an installation by artist Christian Boltanski, featuring 81 lights and mirrors representing the victims. Visitors can explore personal belongings of the passengers as well.
