Oleviste Kirik, commonly known as St. Olaf's Church, is situated in Tallinn's Old Town at Lai 50. The church, named after Norwegian King Olav II Haraldsson, was first recorded in 1267. It is known as the tallest church in the Baltic region, at 123.7 meters. Visitors can admire a stunning view from the observation platform at 60 meters. The altar was created by Friedrich von Maydell and Johann Exner in 1835 and features significant chapels, including the St. Mary Chapel. The church has seen numerous restorations, the latest beginning in 2002. It is accessible to all and free to enter, open from April to November, making it an essential stop for history buffs and architecture lovers.
