Hıdırlık Kulesi is a historic coastal watchtower located in Kaleiçi, Antalya's Old Town beside the ancient harbour. Built in the Roman period and modified during later Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman phases, the stone tower—notable for a cylindrical upper section on a square base—has functioned as a fortification, lighthouse and enduring city landmark. It carries cultural significance as part of Antalya’s maritime and urban heritage and is integrated with surviving city walls and nearby archaeological remains. Key attractions include panoramic views over the Gulf of Antalya and the historic marina, the tower’s masonry and silhouette, and the adjacent narrow streets of Kaleiçi. Visiting hours and admission arrangements vary seasonally and by management; access is typically during daylight, and internal stairs may limit mobility. The tower is protected and periodically conserved as cultural heritage.
