The Doctor's Monument, officially titled the Monument to the Fallen Medical Officials during the Liberation War of 1877-1878, is situated in Doctor's Garden, Sofia. Designed by architect Anton Tomasek and built between 1882 and 1884, it commemorates 531 medical personnel who died in the Russo-Turkish War. The monument features a truncated pyramid topped with a granite sarcophagus, with the names of the fallen and battles inscribed on its sides.
