Edo Castle - Free Audio Guide

Edo Castle, also referred to as Chiyoda Castle, is a historical landmark situated in Tokyo, Japan. Initially constructed in 1457 by Ota Dokan, it was the home of the Tokugawa shoguns for more than 260 years. The castle grounds host stunning gardens, remnants of stone fortifications, and the Imperial Palace, the residence of the current Emperor of Japan. Visitors are welcome to explore the East Gardens, which are open to the public and include scenic walkways and historical buildings. This site holds great cultural significance, providing insight into Japan's feudal history. The East Gardens are open every day from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM with free admission.
