The Museo de la Lonja del Pescado, found in Alicante, Spain, is a historic fish market constructed between 1917 and 1921, designed by architect Próspero Lafarga. Renowned for its distinctive combination of historicist and Valencian modernism styles, the building showcases North African elements, including horseshoe arches and decorative features that evoke Arabic writing. Since its renovation in 1992, it has functioned as an exhibition space, presenting numerous art displays and cultural activities. Visitors can admire its architectural significance and enjoy the diverse exhibitions. The museum is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 AM to 8 PM, and Sunday from 10 AM to 2 PM, with free admission. It is fully accessible to all guests.
