Kopiec Piłsudskiego, also known as the Mound of Independence, is the highest of five mounds in Kraków, reaching 35 meters. Built between 1934 and 1937, it honours Józef Piłsudski, a pivotal figure in Poland's independence movement. From its summit, visitors can take in stunning panoramic views of Kraków and the Tatra Mountains. The site has historical significance, featuring earth from various Polish battlefields.
