The Museu Can Framis, situated in the 22@ technological district of Barcelona, is a centre for the promotion of contemporary Catalan painting and is run by the Vila Casas Foundation. Opened on 27th April 2009, the museum showcases over 250 artworks by Catalan artists from the 1960s to the present day. Set in a refurbished wool factory, it offers a remarkable architectural setting, with three exhibition floors and a garden featuring sculptures by Jaume Plensa. Visitors can explore both a permanent collection and temporary exhibitions in the 1,500 square metre Espai Aø. The museum is accessible, accommodating special needs visitors. Admission fees are affordable, and guided tours are on offer. Opening hours generally run from Tuesday to Saturday, 11 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday from 11 AM to 3 PM.
