Changdeokgung, known as the Palace of Prospering Virtue, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site situated in Seoul, South Korea. Established in the early 15th century, it was the favoured residence of numerous kings from the Joseon dynasty. The palace is celebrated for its architecture that blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings, reflecting Confucian principles. Notable sites include the main hall, Injeongjeon, and the serene Huwon garden, which features ancient trees and charming pavilions.
