Széchenyi Thermal Bath and Swimming Pool - Free Audio Guide

Széchenyi Gyógyfürdő és Uszoda is one of the largest thermal bath complexes in Budapest, which opened its doors on June 16, 1913. The architects Czigler Győző, Dvorák Ede, and Gerster Kálmán designed this magnificent building, which includes 15 indoor and 3 outdoor pools, alongside a variety of therapeutic services. Renowned for its neorenissance architecture, the baths utilize thermal waters from the Szent István well, celebrated for their healing properties. Visitors can enjoy the charming outdoor pools, featuring a swimming pool and an experience pool with whirlpools. The baths are open daily from 6 AM to 10 PM, with entrance fees approximately 6,200 HUF for adults. The facility is accessible, but it is wise to book in advance during busy tourist times to circumvent potential queues. It is recommended to bring your own towel and flip-flops for a more comfortable visit.
