The Provinciaal Hof is a neo-Gothic building situated on the Grote Markt in Brugge. Completed in 1892, it was once the seat of the West Flanders provincial government. It has a significant historical background, having replaced the Waterhalle, built in 1294, which was demolished in 1787. Now, the site is used for events and exhibitions and has been a protected monument since 2002. Visitors can admire the Provincial Council Chamber, decorated with statues and portraits of famous West Flemish individuals. Access has been improved with recent restorations. Entry is free, and it opens daily from 10 AM to 5 PM.
