The Promenade des Planches in Deauville is a historic wooden boardwalk measuring 656 meters that runs alongside the beach. Famous for its 450 Art Deco bath cabins, it was designated a historic monument in June 2019. Inaugurated in 1924, it has gained cultural significance, particularly through its appearance in "A Man and a Woman." Visitors can find bars and a restaurant along the promenade while enjoying picturesque views of the Normandy coast. It is open year-round, and there is no admission fee.
