Liverpool Cathedral, formally known as the Cathedral Church of Christ in Liverpool, is the largest cathedral in Britain and the eighth largest globally. Designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, its construction commenced in 1904 and finished in 1978. The cathedral features striking Gothic Revival architecture and notably has a tower that reaches 100.8 meters high. Visitors can enjoy the stunning interior, including the Lady Chapel and the UK's largest organ. It is open every day from 8 AM to 6 PM, with entry free but a suggested donation of £5. The site is accessible for those with mobility needs.
