Lumír and Píseň is an outdoor sculpture crafted by Josef Václav Myslbek from 1889 to 1897, initially located at Palacký Bridge. Following damage from American bombing in February 1945, it was moved to the Vyšehradské sady in Prague in 1948 during bridge reconstruction. The work represents the legendary bard Lumír and serves as a symbol of national conscience, drawing from Czech folklore. A bronze model of the statue resides in the old town hall, making this cultural landmark a significant expression of Czech heritage and artistry.
