I amsterdam Sloterplas is a notable installation situated in Amsterdam Nieuw-West, positioned along the southern edge of Sloterplas since 2016. This version of the iconic "I amsterdam" letters, crafted by KesselsKramer, stands about 2.5 metres high and stretches 23.5 metres in length. Originally part of a marketing effort initiated in 2005, these letters became a popular photo opportunity for tourists. While many installations have been dismantled, the Sloterplas variant continues to attract fewer visitors compared to central city locations, making it a perfect spot for relaxation and fitness pursuits. The site features a freerunning parcours and serves as a climbing and play area for children.
