The Old Bazaar in Antalya is a historic market in the old quarter near the Clock Tower and the Attalos statue, characterised by narrow lanes and an arched entrance. It houses a wide range of goods—local and international textiles, gold and silver jewellery, carpets, leather goods, souvenirs and food stalls—and visitors are traditionally offered apple tea. The bazaar is culturally significant as a centuries‑old trading hub that showcases local craftsmanship and social customs such as bargaining, which is expected. It is generally open throughout the day and often operates on public holidays; there is no formal admission fee because it functions as a public commercial area. Accessibility varies: many lanes are narrow and closely packed, so mobility can be limited. Its atmosphere, architecture and variety of wares make it a key attraction in Antalya’s historic core.
