Frauenkirche, officially known as 'Dom zu Unserer Lieben Frau', is a remarkable late Gothic cathedral situated in central Munich. Constructed from 1468 to 1494, it is one of the city's most celebrated landmarks. Visitors can explore its distinctive twin towers, both nearly 100 metres high. Inside, the church boasts an exquisite star vault and significant artworks, including the tomb of Emperor Ludwig IV. A key pilgrimage destination, it hosts numerous religious events. Open daily from 7 AM to 7 PM, admission is free, although donations are welcomed. The church is accessible for those with mobility impairments.
