Jardines de Sabatini is a beautiful formal neoclassical garden situated in front of the northern facade of the Royal Palace in Madrid. Created in the 1930s after the proclamation of the Second Republic, the gardens were established on the site of the former royal stables designed by architect Francesco Sabatini in the 18th century. The gardens are characterised by neatly trimmed hedges, symmetrical geometric patterns, a pond, statues of Spanish kings, and tranquil pathways, providing a peaceful escape to admire views of the palace. Open to the public since 1978, Jardines de Sabatini is an important cultural site in Madrid that showcases the city's architectural history. Visitors can enjoy the serene environment daily, with free entry and accessible pathways.
