Basler Münster, situated in Basel, Switzerland, is a remarkable example of Romanesque and Gothic architecture. Construction commenced in 1019 and was finalised in 1500. This former bishop's church, now a Protestant cathedral, is renowned for its striking red sandstone façade, twin towers, and elaborate stained-glass windows. Visitors can wander through its exquisite interiors, including the crypt and choir. The site provides stunning views of the Rhine River and the city from its towers. The Münster is open daily, with visiting hours from 10 AM to 5 PM (6 PM in summer). Admission is free, though donations are welcomed. The site is accessible for visitors with reduced mobility.
