Eyüp Sultan Mezarlığı, in Istanbul’s Eyüp district beside the historic Eyüp Sultan complex on the Golden Horn, is a centuries‑old cemetery centred on the tomb of Abu Ayyub al‑Ansari (locally Eyüp Sultan), a revered companion of the Prophet.
