The Palacio del Marqués de Gaviria is a historic 19th-century palace located on Calle del Arenal in Madrid, Spain. Built between 1846 and 1847 by architect Aníbal Álvarez Bouquel for banker Manuel Gaviria, this luxurious building reflects Roman and Neoclassical influences. Inaugurated in 1851, it became famous for its grand celebrations and exquisite frescoes, particularly the ballroom ceiling by Joaquín Espalter y Rull. Declared a Bien de Interés Cultural in 1977, the palace now hosts various events and temporary exhibitions. Visitors can appreciate its architectural beauty and cultural history, but should check for current visiting hours and admission fees before planning their visit.
