The National Anthropological Museum, established on March 21, 2007, is located at 73 Tsarigradsko Shose Boulevard in Sofia. It is part of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and features restored images of people who lived in Bulgaria throughout various historical periods, designed by prominent anthropologist Prof. Yordan Yordanov. Key attractions include reconstructions of ancient Thracian figures, Bulgarian rulers, and important historical figures from the Renaissance. The museum has a national ossuary gathering anthropological materials from archaeological excavations. Visitors can explore exhibitions organized chronologically, covering Prehistory, Antiquity, Middle Ages, and the Renaissance. The museum is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. Admission fees are affordable, and it is accessible for all visitors.
