The Poortersloge in Brugge, built between 1395 and 1417, served as a meeting place for the city's commercial elite, providing views of the canal where ships docked. It later transitioned into a cultural hub, housing the Free Academy of Arts and the National Archive. The building displays Gothic architecture and hosts contemporary art exhibitions. Visitors can admire the unique "Beertje van de Loge" statue, symbolizing the original knights' society. Open from 10 AM to 5 PM, admission is free. The site is accessible, with facilities for all visitors.
