Puerta Real, originally known as Puerta de Goles, was a prominent city gate in Seville, Spain, built during the Almoravid period. This historical site, rebuilt in 1565, witnessed significant events like the entrance of Ferdinand III in 1248 and a royal visit by Philip II in 1570. Although demolished in 1862, a commemorative plaque marks its location at the intersection of Calle San Laureano, Alfonso XII, Gravina, and Goles. Visitors can admire a remnant of the original Almohad wall. Puerta Real is free to visit and easily accessible, making it a great spot for history enthusiasts.
