St. John's Church, Wernigerode - Free Audio Guide

St. Johannis-Kirche, located in Wernigerode, is an important Protestant church dating back to 1279, making it the oldest preserved church in the city. The church features a stunning Romanesque design, with a three-nave hall and a richly decorated five-part altar from 1415. Visitors can admire the intricate woodwork by local artist Gustav Kuntzsch and the Ladegast organ from 1885, one of the few remaining in the area.
