Designed by Cesare Beruto, the gate features two customs houses that have adapted to various uses over time. Today, the area around Porta Volta, known as Piazzale Baiamonti, is a bustling traffic hub. Visitors can appreciate the historical architecture and the serene atmosphere of the surrounding park. Admission is free, and the site is accessible by public transport.
