Munttoren - Free Audio Guide

The Munttoren, also known as De Munt, is a historic tower located in Amsterdam. Originally part of the Regulierspoort, it was built between 1480 and 1487 and has served as a mint since the 17th century. This 35-meter tall structure features a unique carillon with 38 bells, which is played manually every Saturday at 2 PM. The tower is situated at Muntplein, a bustling intersection close to the famous Bloemenmarkt.
