Bank of China Tower (中銀大廈), located in the Central district on Hong Kong Island and designed by architect I. M. Pei, was completed in 1990 and is celebrated as a landmark of late‑20th‑century Hong Kong. Visitors are drawn to the exterior form, the ground‑level plaza and the illuminated night view; public areas such as the plaza and lobby are generally accessible during daytime, upper floors are private and there is no public observation deck.
