Bürgli is a late classical multi-family house located in the Enge district of Zurich. This historic building, originally known as Oberes Bürgli, was erected in 1834 and replaced an earlier structure mentioned in 1525. Surrounded by a large green area and a 3000 square meter vineyard, it offers stunning views of the city and nearby Üetliberg. Notably, it served as the residence of the Swiss poet and politician Gottfried Keller from 1876 to 1882, where he wrote part of his novel 'Der grüne Heinrich'. Visitors can explore the architectural beauty and enjoy the surrounding gardens. Accessibility is good, as it is located in a central area, but it's advisable to check specific visiting hours and any potential admission fees beforehand.
