The Chinesischer Turm, or Chinese Tower, is a 25-meter tall wooden pagoda located in Munich's Englischer Garten. Built between 1789 and 1790, it serves as a cultural icon and a popular tourist attraction. After being destroyed during World War II, it was reconstructed and reopened in 1952. The site features a beer garden, a historic carousel, and hosts the traditional Kocherlball event every July. Visitors can access the tower via public transportation, including buses and trams. There are no admission fees to enter the park and enjoy the surroundings, making it an accessible destination for all. The tower is surrounded by beautiful greenery, perfect for picnicking and relaxation.
