Chapel of Saint Catherine - מדריך אודיו חינמי

Kaplnka sv. Kataríny, built in 1311, is the oldest Gothic chapel in Bratislava, located in the historic Old Town on Michalská Street. Founded by the Cistercian monk František from Columby, it was completed in 1325 and consecrated by Bishop Ondrej from Stoličné Belehrad. The chapel underwent a significant reconstruction in 2007, restoring its original Gothic appearance and was awarded the Cultural Monument of the Year in 2008. Visitors can admire its unique architecture and the newly uncovered pastoforium. The site is a must-see for history enthusiasts and those interested in Gothic architecture.
