Puente Viejo, or the Old Bridge, is a historic structure located in Ronda, Andalusia, Spain. Built in 1616, it is the oldest and smallest of Ronda's three bridges, spanning the scenic Guadalevín River. Originally, it served as a vital connection between Ronda’s old town and the Mercadillo district. The bridge features unique balconied niches added during an 18th-century renovation, offering breathtaking views of the El Tajo Gorge. Despite its name, the Puente Viejo is newer than the Roman Bridge. Visitors can appreciate its rustic charm and historical significance while enjoying the serene atmosphere away from the bustling Puente Nuevo.
