鈴ヶ森刑場 (Suzu‑ga‑mori Execution Grounds) is a historic Edo‑period execution site in present‑day Shinagawa, Tokyo. Originating in the Tokugawa era, it served as one of the principal locations for capital punishment and public displays of justice near the Tōkaidō route. The site is preserved as a modest memorial park with stone markers, monuments and interpretive signage that evoke Edo penal practice and its representation in literature and woodblock prints. Its cultural significance lies in revealing aspects of Tokugawa legal order, social control and memorial culture; it is studied by historians and appreciated by visitors interested in urban and legal history. As an outdoor historic place it is generally accessible without formal admission; the area is small, with limited facilities and some uneven surfaces that may affect mobility access.
