Edifício A Noite, officially known as Edifício Joseph Gire, is a historic skyscraper located in the heart of Rio de Janeiro. Constructed between 1927 and 1930, it was the tallest building in Latin America at the time and is renowned for its architectural significance and use of reinforced concrete. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views from its terrace, which is slated to host a future restaurant. The building is also home to cultural initiatives, including a center for Rádio Nacional. Currently, the site is undergoing restoration, with expected completion and access starting in the second half of 2024. Admission fees and visiting hours will be announced upon opening. The location is easily accessible via public transportation.
