Zagertje - Free Audio Guide

The Boomzagertje, also known as Houtzagertje or Het zagertje, is a small but charming iron sculpture located in the Leidsebosje park in Amsterdam-West. Created by an anonymous artist in 1989, it depicts a little man sawing a thick branch while hanging upside down. The artwork has a whimsical character and is part of a collection of similar anonymous sculptures in the city. After restoration in 2020, it was relocated to a new branch.
