Dubai's Spice Souk (سوق التوابل), in the historic Deira district near Dubai Creek, is a traditional marketplace that forms part of the city's long trading heritage. As a historic node in regional commerce, it reflects Dubai's role in the exchange of spices, herbs, incense and aromatic products brought from across the region. Culturally it preserves artisan knowledge, commercial practices and culinary traditions; vendors offer whole spices, custom blends, dried fruits, incense and fragrant oils. Key features include densely packed stalls, visible sacks of spices and demonstrations of blending and scenting that illustrate traditional trade techniques. Visiting hours are generally daytime into the evening with many shops open most days; there is no general admission fee. Accessibility varies: alleys can be narrow and crowded, and step‑free access at individual stalls is limited.
